Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi Fellas,

I have a 2003 Jackaroo with a 4jx1 3ltr diesel. Surprise surprise it just broke. Does anyone know of another engine i could swap into it? I am wary of how the trans will match up with different motor - do the later model isuzu engines work?

i have a 4jg2 3.1L only 66,000 klms complete if you want 0418614681

Not sure bout the trans, but the rodeo (RA i think) had a 3 lt 4JH1 engine. You could investigate that?

mate, have you had any luck with the new motor and if so what condition is the old donk. I am after the camshafts and housing if they are ok. let me know what your status is and i will give you my details. Thanks
