Is the BJ60 cruiser the same as our HJ60?

Have been doing a bit of research on shock absorbers and am wondering if a 1982 BJ60 takes the same shocks as the 82 HJ60? Anyone got any ideas?

I'm almost positive they would fit, however they
could be valved differently to suit different engine weights. Ordering from the US i presume?

They are the same Genuine part number 48511-69066
The "B" in BJ60 only means that it runs a 4cyl B series engine 3B or 13BT and "J" is the code for Landcruiser and the 60 is exactly that a 60 series.
As I have listed below some examples,
Toyota engine codes too many to list
F = F, 2F, 3F etc
R = 12R 18R 22R
B = B series B, 2B, 3B, 13B (the list goes on)
L = L series 2L, 3L etc
H = H series H, 2H, 12HT etc.
HZ = 1HZ
HD = 1HDT, 1HDFT, 1HDFTE
Body code Example
A = Celica
E = Corolla
N = Hilux
J = Landcruiser
in older pre 1989 vehicles these codes are in the Chassis number then they were moved to the compliance plate as a model number and VIN replaced the Chassis number.

Yeah, can get a whole set for less than it cost for the two here. Thanks fellas. I figured they would be the same but wanted to make sure before ordering a set.

Bit off topic, but does this mean a 'B' series engine would bolt up to a standard cruiser HJ60 box and mounts?

Input shaft on the gearbox is different between B and H series motors, motor mounts would be in a different location on the chassis too.

Details on the shocks?
I need a new set soon, don't really know what I want to get as this is my first leaf sprung car and I haven't started to research it either.
