Outer Limits 4x4 Board

im about to buy a toyota hilux surf V6...

the bloke has advised me that the 'Top End Bearing' has given up...im still keen on gettin the surf but how difficult is it to replace the bearing?

im mechanically minded so im keen to get in and have a crack at replacing it OR is it worth just replacing the motor?
