hi guy we are looking at 100w hid kits we have 2 kits on the way for me to test one H1 and one H3 our supplier tell me that they are brighter then 600w of halogen will let you know how they go

wow they must b a huge bulb an ballast combo! When will the numbers stop?
Is there a major risk of melting spotties or anything silly like that? Don't think i'd bother thou, quite happy with my 55w setup now (thanks again steve)

From personal experience i have found that anything more than 55w is useless for anything other than comps. Even 55w give so much glare that they are dangerous and a hinderance at times. the glare from a roadside reflective sign is so bad that your retina's close to a point where vision beyond the sign is worse than without the lights on and the recovery time after passing the sign is significant. This seems to be with any temp from 5000k to 8000k. Maybe a 75 or 1000w in a 4300k would be ok but why pay for HID only to get a yellowish light.
For comp stuff where there is no risk of glare from reflective signs they would be awesome.

well we have just tested the 100w hids and yes they are very bright i will try to get some photo for you all
we will try to have them price at about $300 a kit for member we should have the first order of them in about 2 weeks

If u are increasing the wattage up to 100w per light, how much increase in amperage are you experiencing?? Or is the voltage increased by the ballast to compensate?? I currently have 35W H4 in headlights and 55W H1 in Rallye 4000 but would like to see what 100W can do, i just dont want to start drawing more amps.

you will be back to using about 9amps per light for the 12v but they are about 6 to 8 week way
these kit are only in 24v at this time so you can 1/2 the amps so you will use about 4.5 amps
the cost is $300 a set that is cheap for 10000lum per light we also now have a 75w hid kit cost is $210 for that are 12 or 24v both the kit come with a 2 year warrant
