hilux diff ratio

is there any way to work out what diff ratio i am running without pullin it out.
lift the rear end up, put the tcase in neutral, put a marker on the tailshaft and twist it by hand from underneath. Put another marker on the wheel so you can tell how many times it rotates, and you lie underneath rotating it by hand while a mate watches the tire to let you know when its gone around a full single rotation.
You just count how many times you turn the tailshaft around for this one full rotation, thats your diff ratio.
