84 lux diff converion

hay all wanting to do a diff converion on my 84 lux ,want to go coil so wats the best converion

If you want a factory arrangement then a surf 5link rear end and bundera 3link front could be used. Personally I think coils are over rated and would just fit some decent leaf packs and shocks.

The easiest conversion is the 80 series coil mounts. The chassis rails are the same width.
But after haveing hiluxs with leaf springs, coil sprung and now race runners (air shocks) if i was to build another one as a toy id go back to leafs. You can get them to flex as much as coils with the right setup.

thanks 4 that i have ranchos on it now ,have a good lift, will look at race runners ,new leafs

wats a good strong diff 4 the converion mines a 84 lux ,

The 8" centres are strong if assembled correctly, if you want aftermarket stuff then V6 yukon C&P's are the go.
