hey guys soo ive just finished heaps of work to my hilux tried to start it for the first time this morning and when i first start it will rev to about 2500rpm with my foot flat to the floor the dies back to about 500rpm running like a dog then eventually dies. its also blowing heaps of smoke..
does anyone have any ideas of what it could be?
any help is muchly appreciated.
ide really like to get it going today.

Is the air filter blocked?
Exhaust blocked?
Water in the fuel?
Blocked Fuel filter(s)?
Low on fuel?
Air in the fuel?

fuel lines around the wrong way on filter. stupid mistake on my behalf. although i have been working on it for 5 months missing one thing isnt too bad. took it for its first spin this mornin runs like a charm
