has anyone done this to their vitara's steering after a lift.

I noticed mine was rotated, so i attempted to do this mod, but i couldn't get the center link off the pitman arm.
any help, or any feedback of anyone has done something similar to theirs would be great

Hit it with some kind of penetrating lube i.e. WD40 or rostoff. Give it a bit then hit the pitman arm with a hammer until it comes off. You can get a ball joint seperator but it will more than likely damage the ball joint on removal.

As the draglink is probably there since new its going to be tight. Keep in mind, if the drag link is the stock one and its been there since new, the ball joints are going to be bjorked regardless so perhaps replacing it with a new one may be a good option.

Mine had excessive play in the ball joints and even if I put the washers in, it would still be stuffed as the ball was moving around in its hole. This looks to be a helpful mod though, I've found with the 32s, that toe in/out is able to be changed just by pushing out or in on the wheels as the link rotates (as said in the article)... thanks for the link!

nah, i doubt it.

the stablilser would mask the sudden change of toe in & out somewhat, but i am sure the tie rod would still rotate on it's own
