A quick question.... my headlining in my zg grand laredo is falling apart the foam is deteriorating and i am chasing a repair or replacement. Around brisbane city area. Have mentioned it to a few upholsterers but no one has done one and cant garantee a retrim will work....if anyone has done or knows someone it would be appreciated if you could pass on their details cheers. cal

Hey mate

Yep they are simple as. Remove everything holding the "shell" in place. Clean it up and remove all old bits, then glue new hood lining material to it.
We pulled the shell ourselves and a bloke in Rockhampton put on the new lining in half a day (probably less really) and cost $150.

You should be able to get something new put in pretty easy. Only problem was that the guy didn't have the exact colour match so we put in black and if you own a Grand Limited it looks a little different to what is on the overhead console... it wasn't an issue for us as this Jeep is a dunger...
