im looking at different possible power steer options.
i have seen that some people in the street scene are opting to use an electric power steer pump.
does anyone here know where i could find some info on the pressure capability and flow rates of the toyota 2nd and 3 Gen MR2 pumps?
im trying to get a high pressure and flow for hydro assist and not sure if ill get it out of the pump on a 1uz (still researching)
Cheers

a tweaked up toyota pump will give you more than you need! they are easy to adjust, and very good quality. Stick with the stock 1UZ one, much easier..

Any chance you could throw up some pics? These pumps would have a fair current draw yeah?

I looked at them only a little bit a while back, and I think you'd want to put them pretty close to the battery to save on copper
They'd be good though, they free up a slot on the engine for onboard air or a second alternator etc.
A list of donor models would be good.
