Hey ive got a 1989 60 series land cruiser petrol engine. THe engine is pretty much stuffed.
Im wondering if anyone does exchange motors? or is there anywhere i could buy a reco'd one? i have looked all over the internet but havent found anything.
Or what would it cost to rebuild the engine i have? roughly.
Thanks.

I reckon go second hand (can get them for well under a grand) or do a conversion to something worth while. I really don't see the sense in dropping alot of money on rebuilding a 3F. Just my opinion and no offence Hancock.

That's all well and good if you no longer need insurance. I got mine done so I could stay insured, as it turned out I was a waste of time as I rolled it in the bush first trip out with the rebuilt motor.

No offence taken Ray if i new it was going to happen like it did i would have stuck 5L in it.
