x2 ARB. I did mine a while back replaced the bearings bushs and seals in the winch and bushs on the and did the brake with brake disks and bearings. cost around $300 ish for the lot may have been a bit more.

x4. I was just going to say there is a bloke in Heidelberg somewhere that just did a bonza job on mine. I can highly reccommend the water proofing option aswell.

My winch is a Warn XDC which is "supposed" to be Warn's water and dust proof winch. Below are a couple of photos of what the inside of mine looked like after 18 months on the front of the vehicle with only a few river dunkings and a few bog holes, a trip across the Simpson and a run on Fraser Island and maybe used in anger four or five times.

Just be aware there are two rebuild kits you need; the brake service kit with the clutch material and new ballbearings and spring and stuff (p/n 8409) and also the lower housing service kit which has the drum shaft seal etc (p/n 8680), you can also get them from any 4wd shop that deals with Ateco, if that helps.

We can supply parts for any Warn Winch and service them if need be.
