Can anyone tell me if I can bolt a 75 series gearbox and transfer case into my 60 series?
They look the same

if it was behind a 2H or 2F or 3F yes, if it if from a 1990 or later (HZ75 series) then no, has a different input shaft on the gearbox, but the t/case is the same.

I think the guy said that it came off a 1HZ motor, so I'm guessing, no!

The input shaft on the HZ gearbox is longer, so you would need to make s spacer plate up for the bellhousing.
You could make it fit, but you would be better off getting the right gearbox.
or, you could buy a new input shaft (one to suit a 2H/2F and put that in, that is if the front bearing allows.....

Pic shows the 2H/2F shaft and the 1HZ shaft which is 18mm longer and has a finer spline. You can swap the front shafts .
