Hi everyone,

Done a bit of searching around about Toyota Kluger's on here but i couldnt find much info on them. My partner and I currently looking to get one for her for daily driving with the kids and our local road trips around Melbourne.

Looking at an older one, 3.3L petrol, prob around 100-150k on it. It wont be used as 4wding except for driving down dirt roads to camping areas behind/in front of my 4wd

Is there any known major problems with these thing?
are they ok on fuel (some sites are saying around 12.3L/100km around town?
anything i should be wary of when looking?
Will there be enough room to fir 2 x carseats in the back for the kids? (1 x carseat 1 x booster seat)

Any help and information would be muchly appreciated, thanks in advance :)

cheers
John

there sluggish for a v6.
150,000km is timing belt change.

fuel filters on them is quite pricy and its done every 80,000kms.

no major problems with apart from lack of performance from a 3.3L v6.

I reckon the performance of them is not that bad for what they are...they are a heavy vehicle for their size......around town I used to average 13.5 - 14 litres per 100km...damn thirsty....but on the open highway I could get the fuel economy down to about 9 per 100km on the trip computer......

so it depends on what you want....
