Bank on about 5 x the number of hours away from power as the number of AH the battery needed, ie 6 hrs away = 30 AH. This seems like too much, but it does allow for the generally accepted 50% maximum depth of discharge on the batteries for continued use (wont stuff you batteries after a few trips).
In general thos little jump starters wil only have a 17 AH battery in them (= 3-4 hrs)
Note that they WILL run for longer, but the life of the batteries will suffer.

I have seen one done by Weaco. From memory it only a 36 AH battery but probably good enough for an overnighter in the boat.
I use a 75 AH in our boat with a 70 litre trailblazer. It does OK on overnighters.

I use one - love it. Gets over 6hrs on my Waeco CF50.
I use a GMC one.
Buy the heaviest (more lead), cheapest one you can is my advice.
And yes - if you flatten it often it will die eventually.
THey like to be charged.
Your fridge should cut out with auto cutout before damaging battery.
Being a sealed cell, they do handle discharges better then a flooded cell.

Thats what I do, just bought a battery box and another 105AH battery. Got it wired into my dual batt setup for charging and once it's hooked up it's power is also available for use in the system. It rawks! Probably do that for half the price of a Thumper or Waeco power pack.
