just bought a hj75 cruiser ute 2h 4l diesel, on take off, i get a massive shudder, feels like axle tramp. does anyone else have this problem? if so what have you done to fix it?

is it just axle tramp due to not much weight on the rear wheels?

cheers

Not clutch shudder? What are the rear springs like?

all good, lowered the rear tyre pressures to 30psi. with an alloy tray on the back and 40psi in the rear tyres, it was axle tramping.

definatly not clutch shudder.

landcruiser diesels are notorious for clutch shuddering. and unless youve taken them all out, a cruiser has too many leaves in the packs to tramp unless you have really big tyres and a 2h on roids.

i have a new v8 cruiser ute and i have to try to get tramp. i just dont think a 2h has the powa.

no it wasnt clutch shudder, like i said.
there is evidence on the rear tyres of skidding/sliding/bouncing on the road. the rear suspension is too stiff. and with the tyres at 40psi and hard tyres, they just bounced
