Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey has anyone put an inlet air temp sender in a top mount set up and put the boot in off road, or took a range of figures across dif conditions? With or without thermo underneath. I'm interested in pharking off my frozen boost intercooler in search of less moving parts, but not if its going to get a heap of heat soak even with a thermo.

Whats the verdict?

build a shrowd under the intercooler with the fan attatched to that and seal the top to the bonnet , works fine for me
