Went to go to see the old man tonight, jumped in the Jack, turned the key and fired her up. All good, sitting there idleing. THEN IT JUST STOPPED!!!!
I'll just turn the key to start it again, cranks but no fire. HHMMMM!!!!
Disconnected the turbo timer (plug in Bogard) just incase it has died. Still no go. Called Holden assist, RACV dude came, turned the key, and said "Yep it dosn't go" well I know that, and towed it away. POS, should have bought a 4.2 Patrol.
I will never buy another Holden again!!!!!

Going on a trip to central Aust. in 3 weeks so I want it reliable. The POS has only done 5500kms and has shit itself already....
To add insult to injury the misses '01 Astra has shit as well. CEL is on checked fault codes and the 02 sensor has died.. This has done 55000kms and is under warantee as well. Now only got the old Sluglux work truck to drive around. I hope that bad things happen don't happen in threes, cos this is enough....
It lives again!!!!

Got the Jack back today, after nearly a week. It goes again. Had the local dealer stumped for a bit. Getting a full report 2morrow but basicly it seems the oil pressure sensor for the HEUI pump had died and the ECU didn't know there was any oil pressure so didn't allow injection.
DAMN electronic diesels........

Going great ATM. Just got home from a trip through central Aust, QLD, NSW to Vic. Done 8510kms with no trouble. Averaged 14l\100km towing an offroad camper and the back filled with crap. Looks like it's all fixed....
