Hey Guys,
Recently purchased a cruiser 2000 105 series TD was keen to get a full check - report on the car could anyone recommend me some good 4x4 mechanics - workshops in melbourne south eastern side of the city.

Not in the south east unfortunately, but Autocraft in Geelong.

As for oils, i personally use Castrol Jmax for Engine, VMX-M for trans/x-fer and appropriate gear oil. All except the engine oil is available from Repco, Supercheap etc and get 20l Jmax from Coburg truck parts in Cambellfield.

Glenmount Automotive, 1/115 Ricketts Rd Mt Waverley VIC 3149 - (03) 9544 4000.
I've had a fair bit of work done by Ken (owner) and he is great. He's a 4x4er too, so he knows the ins and outs of what we do.
Highly recommended...

www.lcool.org is the guru place for cruisers.
FWIW I've been using the last 2 for years... The patrol seems to like the Rx Super, and I like it cheap at Supercheap

You probably should have kept all this crap to a PM as it certainly feels more like a private matter.
Your PM button broken ?
In your hypocracy, you tell me it should be a PM, but reply to the thread with nothing more than your thoughts, in a tech section ?
