Auto HUBS

Hey fellas.

Perhaps 'roly' or others may be able to answer my question.

Got some manual free wheeling hubs for my GQ. As i want to piss my auto hubs off.

Upon removing the auto hubs.. there is a part (perhaps the magnetic lock?) that is protruding on the outside part. How do you remove that to get the manual ones to slide in??

If my wording is too complicated, let me know and ill go and take pics.

I've got auto hubs on my gq shorty and i have really had any problems with them apart from the occasional time when it hasnt gone back into 2wd properly and that lovely whirring noise comes along till you pop it into 2wd again, if i had the money spare or if a set landed in my lap i would put manuals in just so i knew for sure that it was in 2wd

gq auto lock hubs are different to gu.on a gq the slip clutch has to be removed when replacing with manuall locking ones. there is a curclip that retains this clutch.

Thanks fellas.. Much appreciated. Will look at the 'circlip' that needs to be removed to put the manual lockin hubs on.

Much appreciated.
