Sounds like a battery or alternator issue.
a) battery's about to die
or
b) alternator isn't charging the battery

More likely you have a dodgy connection.
Pull the leads off the battery and clean
up the terminals with some sandpaper.
Check the other end of the cables too. +ve goes to the starter, disconnect it and give it a scuff. The -ve cable should earth on the bottom starter bolt again with the general clean up.

have a mechanic check the timing, or mark where the dizzy is and undo the bolt and adjust slightly one way or the other to retard and advance the timing, just trial and error.

it may also be the starter motor i had the same problem so i pulled it out and clend it with electrical terminal cleaner and it works fine
if it is just clicking give the starter moter a tape with a hamer and it should fire up if it is a starter moter problem

i ended up finding the problem it was the starter motor. apparently the solenoids shit themselves and it did. it ended up that bad i jumpd started my car and the current that the alternator was suppling the starter was completely draining it and i had no lights no stereo nothing it was just draining all the power it was also seized when i removed it

if i went abit happy in the mud do u think it would stuff my starter motor or alternator by any chance?

Yes mud can definately stuff both of em. Thats something we all have to live with. You can reasonably seal up starter motors, but alternators is nye impossible to seal against mud. If you do get the alternator coated in mud, rinse it out as soon as possible with a freshwater hose.
