hi all i want to know if it is possible to fit a rear lsd center into a front difff in a ng pajero 1991 . as i was going to stripp down the rusty 1983 i picked up fit its rear center into the fron diff housing then swap the front dif into the 1991 ng
and will a transfer case fron a 1983 2.6 pajero fit a 1991 2.6 pajero
as mine is buggered

No, as I recall different spline counts. Assuming there both 8in diffs.

There are a few rigs here in the US where we have swapped a Starion rear LSD into the front of a Gen I V6 axle. I think they will also fit the later Gen IIs as they have a similar carrier and the bigger housing. (The earlier Gen IIs had the same front as the Gen I 2.6.)

There are many threads on 4x4Wire about possible options to mix-n-match for the Starion unit.
