sway bars

i wanna get more travel on my front wheels is it worth taking out the sway bar.

What's holding the suspension from travel it may be that the shocks are too short . Is it standard height or 7" raised , is it a Nissan patrol or Nissan micra ? All this info will help you get the best advice .

its an 2009 navara str 2" lift i was told the if 1 wheel is up it will stop the other wheel from dropping as far as it would with now sway bar

That is true, however given that the car has IFS, there won't be a huge amount of drooping going on as you'll find theres probably only 20mm gap to your lower bump stops.
If you have a rear swaybar however, you'll probably find this to help a lot more, as it will allow the diff to flex properly.
