td4.2 fuel pump upgrade

tried to search with no luck , has any one upgraded there fuel pump , have been told to upgrade with 80 series or komatsu pump . would like info if you have done this or know about it or other options . have 3"exhaust , dyno tuned , snorkle . cheers Rocket

There are various companies that do the mods, I doubt any of them will tell you what they use or specs. They will do the pump for you though.
Dztech is on this board, but he is in Vic. Hiway deisel have done alot of comp spec pumps, in Brisbane, Salsbury area. United deisel in WA. Plenty more I can't think of.

my upgraded pump was about $2200 exchange. was stocko n/a td42. now comp spec with turbo compensator, bigger plunger etc etc. i think the pump was built by denco but ordered and fitted by on and off orad mechanical at brendale qld. if your interested, speak to mike.

Hi ,Dont know if you have acsess to Trade me (nz s answer to e bay) theres a guy on there Aaron who does them $2000 nzd hes done most of the comp trucks over here that runs them ,did mine and very happy with it with the exchange rate might be worth a call ..cheers

Standard TD42 (Turbo)
Power - 130 Kw (175 Hp)
Torque - 355Nm (267 FT LBS)
Turbo TD42 With Go Fast Diesel Pump
Power - 140 Kw (190 Hp)
Torque - 850 Nm (626 FT LBS)
Massive torque increase, its like turboing you truck again!!

Aaron has done a couple for me also including my own 12 months ago and cannot recommend him highly enough, Fast, knowledgeable and puts out a great product.
Cost then was 2k kiwi including injector test at no extra charge.
ps: don't ask for his pump specs, its a black art! ha ha

I already had a factory Aneroid fitted as it was a TD42T factory engine.
Another one i did needed the aneroid and it was about another $750 from memory.
life length of 12mm spec pumps? no drama yet and i haven't heard of any so far in our little corner.
