Hey guys ive got a 91 GQ with a 2" suspension lift and 33" maxxis bighorns.
Should i be going a 1" or 2" body lift and get front and rear arb lockers or should i go the 5" tough dog suspension lift.
Is it a big job for a body lift like what do u have to change on the body or chassi to do the body lift.
Thanks guys

GQ body lift with arb lockers, or 5" suspension lift
get the body lift and lockers mate you dont need a 5" i run a 3" flexy spings and 5"shocks with 2"body and it is awesome more control thru the tracks, i had a 6" in at one stage and it was the worst thing i ever did to my truck. to put the body lift in all you do is take the bottom panel off your radiator and on your steering shaft at the rubber thing lossen off the bot on the spline, un do one side of you body blocks jack it up and put your block on top of the standard blocks and put your nut on finger tight so it can allow movment when you jack the other side up. do one side at a time. also the two back bolts have lock tight on them so you'll need to apply heat or just cut them out. with your transfer gear stick you can either heat it up and bend it forward or cut the back of the rubber boot support. hope it helps

I run a 4inch suspension with 2 inch body i wouldnt go any higher then that personaly. I did my own body lift with a high lift jack on the side of the road (cause had no where else to do it) was easy left me wondering why the $600 quote to fit it. All i did losen all bolts but still leave nuts on then take 1 side out jack that up fit lift blocks and bolts then do the other once done give it a good shake then tightn up all. then back off your steering joint reset it and tightn back up. I think 3inch sus wit 2inch bod lockers and agressive 33s would be a sweet setup.

I'd just go the lockers, and no body lift.
