its coming from the front, its leaking at the fuel pump on the engine

ive had this issue twice on different luxes the first on there is a sender with rubber boot on it on top of the pump, it was leaking out of the thread from there. unscrewed it thread sealed it and all good. the other engine i just replaced the diesel pump with a spare i had, not a hard job just time consuming.

so its leaking from the fitting that screws into your fuel pump and conects to the line that feeds the injector? i would try tighting it if that fails to stop it. remove the fitting clean it thread seal it put it back in and bleed the system.

or do you mean the brown/black plate that bolts to the back of the pump its about 2 inches long and is the size of the pump. if its leaking at that seal it needs to be removed to have the seal replaced
