I am currently doing some work on a BJ 47 Cab chassis land cruiser with the 2H engine.
Having a lot of difficulty getting the glow plugs to work.
From an old wiring diagram it looks like the person before me has complete removed the glow plug relay wire from glow plug warming lamp.
The wire from the glow plug relay to the glow plugs themselves is still there and looks to be intact.
The glow plugs them self are not receiving any current when you turn on the ignition to glow the plugs.
Most of the wiring under the dash looks to be ok with no indication of damaged or earth faults immediately apparent.
Any suggestions possible causes or tips on fault finding would be greatly appreciated.

BJ 47 Glow Plug wiring problem

do you have to do something funky with the ignition to get it to glow?
on some i have seen they are glowed by turning the key past off, most are when you are in the on position though..
if you can see the wires and believe its intact then wire up a wilson switch to allow you to manually glow. if you do that and still no current to the glow plugs work backwards from there.
lots of info on ih8mud re: wilson switch.
