because section one minor mods is like wheels, lift, driving lights, exhaust system, window tinting, croming, heating bendng of vicheals/suspension, fuel systems, vichel accessory, roll bars etc, visual display screen, Ariel, bull bars, wheels, tires, etc
sounds stupid as.

Sorry to hi jack your thread but im having a bit of drama with the boys in blue in regards to running 33s on my rodeo. If i was to fill the form out and take the car with the 33s on to get inspected and they didnt approve it, can they issue a fine on the spot.
Cheers Ryan

if it get approved when u send in the mod form then no they cant defect you ,saying this there is alreay a tyre standard and the mod form is only for mods without a prset standard.
Tyres
The maximum tyre width for a car or car derivative must
not be more than 1.3 times the vehicle manufacturer’s
widest optional tyre.
However, for an off-road passenger vehicle fitted with
front and rear beam axles, the maximum tyre width
must not be more than 1.5 times the vehicle
manufacturer’s widest optional tyre.
The rim diameter may be varied from the standard size
but the overall diameter of the tyre must not vary by
more than +15mm or -26mm.
They will not approve anymore than that i tried.
Oh and also just incase when i applied for my lift they jus sent me back standards paperwork stating u may lift you vehcile 50mm body with approval was approved and max sus lift is 1/3rd the origanal manufactures spec of bump stop to diff tavel. Qld transport are so much fun

. Ima try get ICV rego when i do my extra cab chop.

so where can we obtain this info regarding mods ????
tyre width is 1.5 times that of standard ???
so body lifts are ok (2") and spring lifts (2")???
and no shackle lifts ???
and does an extra cab have to be an ICV and we do u get required specs for that ???
