Injectors and water?

G'day all

I have a problem with my Truck, every time it see's water it starts to break down  .

I've narrowed it down to the Injectors(i Think), because when i blead the Cooling system the ONLY part of the eletrical system that got wet was number 1-2 Injectors.

Will water on an Injector cause it to run rough?, after a while it does go away, so i was thinking it's water and it's drying out.

If i'm on the right track, any one got an idea on how to seal them up?

It's an RB30et out of a VL

Thank's
Chris

Much more likely to be water sitting around the spark plugs on one and two. Injector voltages are small and not inclined to jump/arc unless the terminals are quite corroded. TB42 and RB30 both have deeply recessd plugs that water will lie around if you hit water at speed. A good quality set of plug leads (we use ICE) with quality plug boots, and a silicone gel when installing the plug lead to the plug.

Change your crank angle sensor (and the connector that goes onto it), I have owned a couple of VL's, they cause all sorts of strange issues (or no spark t all) when they start to play up.
