hey mate

these tyres were on my car when i bought them, at the same size, and i ran them for about 6 months. i only got rid of them because i came accross a very well priced set of bfg's

my thoughts on them were they were great, especially for what your paying for them. i never had issues with traction/ handling etc. the sound they made were normal for an all terrain so no complaints there i used them as my daily driver tyres but did take them off road a few times. off road they did just as good as the bfg, obviously only good when it was dry.

the only real difference i noticed is that i get about 50km a tank more now, with the bfg, my tank is 65lt. now im not sure if this had to do with the amount of wear etc. but i get a fair bit more off a tank now i have switched. but i have also noticed i get alot more of a screaming noise when i turn on the bfg compared to the silverstone.

i actually just sold them with about 5mm of tread to a friend and he says there serving him fine

hope this helps

had a set of 265/75 r16, they were the most useless tires i have ever had, 2 of them wore twice as fast as the other 2 and needed balancing regularly and by the time i retired them (bfg muddies) they had enough plugs in them to outnumber the tread blocks (almost). i could count on getting at least one to 2 stakes a week- never had this prob with any of the other tyres on various vehicles iv had in the same terain. i was using the ute they were on as a wood carting device they didnt seem to like the extra weight either
