Hi there folks thought it was about time I added some shots of my rover and it's transformation.....was a lifted 78' 3.5lt, auto on gas with working power steering, perfect for a buggy! oh and it had some worn 35's on it

out came the grinder and off came the bumpers and rear part of the roof and rear windows...
then the rear panels
now time to shorten the chassis and get rid of that old fuel tank
front guards off and a form begins to emerge....

a few more pics....more bar work on the rolly and a litttle test run...
resulted in...
time to reinforce the drag link to hold those 38's togeather
double braced with 5mm angle ( which has since failed when it got snagged on a rock and now has an extra piece 0f 50x50x5 box which is working good. )
new stinger bar...made outa some 3mm gal pipe I found at the dump : )
had the rear diff out and welded it up. Test run time !
