Average fuel ecomony on td42

i am building a td42 with a turbo glide kit on it roughly what sort of fuel ecomomy do you think i will be getting just a ball park figure would be fine i dont think it could get any worse than the economy im getting out of the tb42 that im taking out

driven nicely on closed tread 31's down in the 10s. given a bit, probably 12.

on 35 aggressive tread pattern probably something in the 12-14 area depending how you drive.

I would have said more like 12 in kind conditions and 14-16 if cained.

but yeah better than your tb :lol:

My TB42T that I just pulled out was getting 22-26lt / 100km
Now the TD42 I just put in is getting 11 - 12.5lt / 100 km on the highway.

yeah im pulling out my tb42 its a great strong engine but im starting to think ill need to buy a servo it is shocking on fuel but the upside is when im towing my boat she doesnt feel it on the back im sure a td42 is going to be alot better on fuel

fark the petrols, piles of shit, had a 4.2 diesel constantly runnin 18lb boost would use a 5th of the fuel my 4.8 peti does

35's, 4.1 diffs, 23psi, gets about 13.5 on the hwy including some big overtakes, and about 15/16 around town, but i do give it crap alot....

Just did a quick run to bed in the new 4.6 centers.

Running 35's over mixed road surface's 1/3 dirt the rest sealed got 13.9 liters per 100 kilometers.
