yep i got one in my 80 1fz-fe motor, i have a vdo temp gauge on the a pillar fitted 10 years ago, the stock gauge has a HUGE flat spot so dont trust it, the ally rad seems to dissipate heat better when in slow sticky stuff, sand and when towing, apart from that i couldnt say it does any better than the stock unit. I got it for free, thats why i have it installed otherwise i prbably would have gone for a stock unit due to the price of a new rad from PWR

Cheers

Just make sure that it is WELL isolated with rubber mounts as alloy work fatigues quickly when subjected to vibrations

Why do you want one?

Overheating?

Fix your fan clutch first, then mod the temp gauge to make it work properly.
