Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I have recently put a 6'' lift in my gu patrol and now the steering wheel is not lined up straight. I would like to pull it off and turn it on the spline. I was wondering if the air bag in the steering wheel will deploy? is there any wires i need to disconnect or a special way i need to pull it off to stop it from deploing?

Havnt done it on a patrol, but iv done it on bommodores, just pull the fuse before u start trying to pull the wheel off. They can do serious damage if they go off at the wrong time
