i can tell you from personal experience that you will need to modify your low range shifter with the body lift as it will no longer be able to select low. No idea on the auto tho. good luck.

this question has been asked before and i said what i had to do gq 89 auto wagon cut a bit out behind the low range shifter because i couldnt get low range then just adjust your steering shaft. but had arguments about that and bending the shifter and modding the actuator length i like my way was easy and just used a drill hammer and chisel.

Cutting the floorpan is one way but this is the way we do it.

All we do is cut in front of the shifter down low, cut about half way through the shifter(below the floorpan if possible) we usually use a thin disc and do about 3 cuts next to each other so their is about 4mm total material removed.
Bend the gearstick forwards( this is why you dont cut right through. test drive the vehicle , if all good then run a weld over the cuts , it looks very neat from above and below .
Every one does things different , its your choice how neat you want your truck.
This way also means you do not damage the seal between your floorpan and your shifter boot.
;)

I did it to my auto, then removed it..
if your running a 5inch suspension lift, how much more do you need? You'll clear plenty big tyres with 5inch if you do it right.
