I've got a set of LTB swampers i want to get re grove. How deep can you go with these tyres. Also is it worth it? I was told smithies outback can do it, is there anybody else in melb that can? The tryes are 34" LTB's
Also is this possible radial claws? if so how deep
cheers

It is always possible to re-groove tyres. also possible to get new keyboard so ya can get the second "o" out!

(I will one day)
Note that once they are re-grooved they are no longer road worthy, unless they are made and marked as being re-grooveable. Most truck tyres can be done, and have it written on the sidewall.
Depth varies a LOT. way I was taught is to - quite literally - cut to the steel (or whatever fabric) and back off a couple mils. This is for Offroad use.
For a proper job on truck tyres we generally call the manufacturer and they'll tell us how far into the casing we can go. No manufacturer will tell you how far you can cut into any tyre other than this.
I have a pair of 31" Firestone Firehawks on my old spotlighting buggy that I grooved 4-5 years back. touched the fabric in plenty places and they're still going strong.
