undo old bolts on old engine mounts, put jack up car from the sump (place a block of wood in between sump and jack), take old mounts off, place new mounts in, lower jack, do up bolts.
although, some people run into problems like the motor not coming back down in line with the mounts, so a trick i have done in the past is to let the jack down and take it right out of the way, put handbrake on, start car and in 1st gear give it a few "pig roots" and hopefully it will fall into place.

I was always told that you dont lift anything from under the sump because of the chance of crushing the sump. Thanks for the tips guys

Timber should protect as stated but theres allways a risk that it could fall off and the jack go through the sump how ever small that is, Block and tackle or engine crane is the other way
