is it possible to remove passenger and driver front seat out of base model cruiser 1/92 and replace with gxl seats and centre console?

I've done that in mine, I just had to get some new seat belts.

aw really so you ripped old seats out and fit gxl seats and centre console straight in no or cutting what so ever ? and then just put in the gxl seat belts aswell thanx mate

sorry bud I did'nt read ya post properly.. I,ve got mazda seats in mine. but the gxl seats will go in no probs and ya wont need to get after market seat belts and the consol will go in to, ya just gotta find the bolt holes..

If it's anything like the one I did a year or so ago, you won't find the bolt holes for the rear of the console. You'll find a threaded hole for the front of the console but the rear 2 holes for the console mount into a bracket on the floor that is missing in the base models. You will need to get this from the donor car (spot welded to the floor) or make your own.
