What are the pros and cons of full time FWD transfer case? I've seen the kits to alter full time to part time so I'm assuming there's reasons why part time is more desirable. I'm considering using a Discovery LT230 TC which I believe is full time and can be converted to part time.

part time makes driving on the road at speeds better, when you have a lift that causes dramatic uni joint angles. It also yields more responsive steering. the other crap about fuel economy is just that.
it's popular on 80 series crusers due to the backlash they develop. And I heard that it's common on the discoverys that are lifted because even small lifts can cause crazy driveline issues.

its mainly fuel and back lash but contery to the above awd is far superior on the road at speeds and alot nice on loose dirt unless your one for sideways action
and i doubt in your case the extra fuel would be a isue whit the extra power of that isuzu
