Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi.

I am new to 1HZ diesels.
I have just bought a 100 Series Diesel and i have noticed the oil pressure on the gauge sits 3/4 up the gauge and under throttle up hill it climbs towards H.
Is this normal????

pressure is directly related to engine speed moresoe than load. It's not uncommon for a toyota to have an inaccurate guage too. Still would be worth checking with a decent guage.
