GU pitman arm = BENT

Post by TomSeth »

Bent my GU pitman arm on my MAV, will a late model GQ pitman fit a GU box.

The reason I ask because I've heard the GQ pitman arms are stronger than GU because of their shape but I also know the shafts are smaller, but I know the later model GQ's had a bigger steering box, smilar to GU, does anyone know if one of these will fit?

Alternatively does anyone know of stronger GU pitman arms.

Yes I've tried the search function extensively so save the flaming.

Early gq has plain body, late gq has koyo 082 and gu has koyo 104. All sector shaft splines are different and increase in size with model. All keyed sections of the splines are different too.
