Rrrr seems every think i touch lately needs a heater core .

Or do i need to pull the dash , and will i need to re-gas the air ?

Yes you will have to pull the dash out, but there pretty easy to do. You should not need to take the evaporator out, so no aircon regass. If your not sure what to do, get yourself a workshop manual or maybe there are ones on here or the Patrol site will have on line manuals.
