G'Day All,
Lookin at getting an on-board air set up but struggeling to pick a compressor!!
I was lookin at the BOSS Air Compressor PX-02 Impressor Kit from 4H website or just a Terrain Tamer Twin Pump from ebay and adding a 9lt tank.
Just wondering if anybody has seen any better deals or has any other valuable input to waiver my decision....
Just using it to pump up the fattys after a beach run and clean out the cab and all that sort of stuff. Nothing too serious.
Cheers

i have the boss and it works great with an air tank it is mounted in behind and under the winch , ive had it under water quite a few times and it still starts up every time , what ever you get make sure it is 100% duty cycle so you dont have to worry about turning it off for it to cool down

Search is DEFINITELY your friend with this topic!! There are LOADS of threads on On-Board air systems.
Save money on the tank by going to a truck wreckers and getting an air (brake) tank. There are heaps of varying sizes to fit anywhere for WAY LESS than the tanks in shops. You could even buy a couple/few tanks to add to your air capacity.
Good luck with it!!

Cheers boys,
I'll visit the truck wrecker this weekend to find a decent tank and find myself a 100% duty cycle compressor to fill er up.
I have searched and researched the topic, read, wondered and wished...
but like anything on the net these days there is a lot of crap you need to wade through to find what you want. i think it is a lot easier to just ask in a forum and hear what other people have to say as opposed to 25,000 manufacturers compteing over who has what novelty gimics.
thanks again for your input
