Just a quick one to some of the diesel guru's out there.

Running a gt2876, stock pump, extractor manifold, 3" exhaust and a top mount 600 x 300 cooler with twin 10" thermos.

Currently about 16psi and the fuel setting is restricting my idle a little.

Looking into swapping over injectors or doing whatever it is that the "cool kids:" get done to them. Is it the case that you are able to get upgraded tips for them or are they adjusted so to speak?

Just after some info to point me in the right direction, Im not asking for trade secrets just a nudge in the right direction so to speak.

Cheers Rhys

fuel pump is the limiting factor, not the injectors.

Dito. You need to either upgrade to a 2005 GU pump with 11mm plunger or get a modified pump from Andy at Diesel Tech plus bigger injectors.

We use modified injectors on vehicles that make over 150rwkw. It stops the springs breaking inside when revs are high. Yes it can be done to future proof yourself, you just need to know a power level you want.
