All Roo and LF lights all use the Osram/Philips JCY 6.35 bi-pin 100w halogen bulb. That is their name... The only difference is that the handheld spot lights use the vertical filament, whilst the driving lights use the vertical filament.
Search much?

So what light uses the vertical filament?

I guess that means the driving lights use a horizontal filament based on the ones sitting outside my house

The 12v 75W vertical filament globe is standard in RMSM140 & RMSM170 model lights. The main difference between the two is the shape of the beam. The horizontal filament gives a slightly oval spot and the vertical filament gives a more circular beam.
