Hi there,
Just after some info on this conversion. (4.5 to a LS2 6lt)
Has anyone done this conversion?
Is there any major dramas with the conversion?
Who does a kit for this?
Does the 6lt gear box bolt up easly?
Any info would be great!
cheers!

help from marks
i have a ls1 in a gq its pretty simple conversion, its going into a 4.5 gu in the next few months, we are planing on doing a write up on it, but i can,t see that happening until after easter. marks do a kit if you go auto run a holden/chev auto don't try to run the nissan auto or if you do manual, use the nissan box and ive heard dellows do a better adaptor to run them. for electrics contact killa kustum kables (killalux on here), he should be able to give you a bit more info if needed or he does do a drive in drive out conversion

Have done a few. Marks are very good, there are a few things that can be done differently/better. Most people jump at the cheapest quote, I've seen many where it all works but a little more time would make for a great job, we do a custom 4" intake and air box with ours and a dynotune as well as removing the old engine loom and making things look very much like OE. There is more than one way to do the A/C compressor, drive belt and cooling fans, be it electric or mechanical fan, choice of radiator and so on.
