Standard or 2" hight of a 98 Gu

Hi gus just bought my self a 98 4.5 gu and i'm tring to work out if any work has been done on the suspension would anybody be able to give me some sort of mesurment for either standard or 2" lift mine messures 760mm from bottom of rim to bottom of the flare Cheers in advance Andy

I dont have any measurements for your, but you need to clarify the rim size. I find a more accurate (if you need to be) way of measuring is from shock mount to shock mount.

Approx because all are different but 60mm front bump stop clearance is about std.
Also 540mm is about std from centre of rim to flair/guard.

Redbook lists the roof height at 1855mm on 265/70 R16 tyres.

50mm front GU bumpstop gap is standard , GQ is 65mm.
Measured with a tape inside the coil from the underside of the bumpstop to the diff striker plate.
so in other words if you have 165mm it would be a 100mm lift in a GQ =4inch lift.
Make sure your bumpstop is not broken as it is common for the bottom to snap of.
