is there any benefit to using the auto fluid cooling section on an auto radiator to cool power steering fluid?
Pointless exercise?
would i be better off just using an after market oil cooler?
was trying to save space in front of rad and not have much covering radiator.
any opinions would be much appreciated

toyota just runs a steel line in front of the chassis below the radiator
even using a larger resivoir will help

Not sure what temp the power steering runs at as to whether the radiator will pull any heat out. Take a thermometer with you next time and stick it in the reservior after a hard use if no-one chimes in o tell what temp.

Keep digging and you will find some smaller inline coolers for power steering, that's what I intend to plumb in, nto much thicker than the cross member that the lines are usually bolted to.

Have a look in the front of a Nissan GU they have a pretty slim inline unit.
