Are they the same or is the 80 bigger?

The 80 master cylinder has a 1" bore. The HJ75 has a 7/8" bore, I don't know the bore size of the HZJ75.
I am using an 80 master cylinder in my HJ75 because 75 parts are a bit hard to get around here.

I know there are several types of M/C's for 80 series, anyone know the differences, and are they all mounted the same? Just that I heard early petrol 80 M/C's will bolt straight onto Hilux, maybe other Cruiser's?

The pre 1995 models mount with a 4-bolt flange to the vacuum booster, the 1995 and newer ones mount with a 2-bolt flange. Not engine type dependent as far as I know, but there are variations based on brake type on the rear.
