SHOCK ABSORBERS

THIS HAS PROB BEEN DONE A HUNDRED TIMES BUT WHAT SHOCKS ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE RUNNING IN THEIR TRUCKS.
CAN YOU LIST SUSPENSION MODS, SHOCK TYPE AND PART NUMBER IF KNOWN.
I need shocks for a 90 sierra with 2inch lifted leafs. still running standard length shocks.

it has been done but is not very clear on what ppl use.

Well basically it would most probably fair to say that most people use Rancho's or OME.

As for me I have monroe I haven't had any probs but the suspension is pretty much stock.

I run Celica rears ( up front )
& I used to run Sigma sedan rears ( up back) :D

looking at running lada / cj 5-8 jeep rear shocks in it. they compress to 312mm and extend to 511 compared to stock shox at 282 and 450

will have to put spacer on bump stop
what do ppl think

Have tried Munroe,Rancho and Bilstein now run Procomps way better than the others.

Sam how did the price of the procomp compare to the rancho/ome/belstein?
